Part One -The Early Days
The Sands Fulton family lines originated from Islay in Scotland before moving to Dalry, Ayrshire in the mid-eighteen hundreds. The families lived simple lives in tune with natural law, with a deep respect for the whole earth. They lived as part of a no-nonsense community living from fair means, healthy and straightforward. Rooted in natural flora, they had an innate respect for the people and raw materials that went into crafting high-quality useful possessions. The kind that always worked and made life better.
Local heirloom quality gifts made with love
They bought and gave only fine heirloom quality gifts. Gifts made with love, passion and longstanding skills honed and handed down over generations. As simple, honest island people, they trusted in local know-how. They invested in local families and craftsmanship to make their goods. They trusted and traded in story-rich materials and Scottish heritage to meet the everyday challenges of living from the earth and sea.
